Hi ๐พ ๐ซ

My name is Billie and I'm a 6 year old Chihuahua born in Twickenham (don't ask hahaha). Looking for love and companionship.
I have a GSOH but I don't suffer fools, people think I'm shy but I'm actually very friendly once I get to know you. Deep down I love all people unless you're the person who's always coming and going nextdoor I hate that lol ugh *sigh*
I like tummy rubs, head scratches and dairy / poultry products ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ฆ
No dogs please.
Thank you so much for looking after me xxxxxx
My Schedule
A typical Billie day
- 07:00-08:00- Morning wee on the patch of grass up the hill. But I've been known to lie in a little longer too! ๐
- 09:30- I should try and eat breakfast, but it might take me a while. In the morning I have a little flax seed oil with my scrumbles wet food and a small scoop of kibble.
- 10:00ish- By now I'll probably need to poop ๐. I go out the front this time and around to the car park where there is a quiet park for me to go (if I haven't just gone in the street already)
- 13:00-14:30ish- An afternoon wee please!
- 14:30-17:00- ๐ง ๐ A medicine cheese ball woudn't go amiss. I can have this any time of day as long as I have it once a day.
- 17:00-18:30ish- Wee walk, short or long it's up to you.
- 18:30-20:00 - Evening meal! Again I have scrumbles wet and a scoop of kibble, or i may still have some to eat from earlier in the day.
- 22:00-23:00- Before bed I go for my night time walk. It's usually another trip to my car park park, with some stops for sniffing. There is a route via the back of the ancient monument I take, and a few laps around the grass to see if there's anything I'd like to investigate.
Home Alone
I love my home and there are times its best I stay here while you go and have whatever your idea of a good time is.
I'm quite used to being left for an hour or two, but please try and return to me within 4 hours in case I have business to attend to.

What can I say I'm just unique I guess!
Nerves
Sometimes I get nervous, sue me! Here's some tips for living with nerves:
- Pause for thought: At times I find it hard to deal with a rush of emotions. This happens to me especially halfway down the stairs, anywhere near the park, or moving toward a route I wasn't expecting to take. I might lock in place for a moment. Usually, some gentle encouragement helps - hearing my name, or someone coming down to my level to call me over, will make me feel more confident to go on. A little tug if I'm wearing my harness can bring me back to life. If all else fails and you need me to get on with it, just pick me up! Whoops, what am I like haha!
- Escape plan: I've been known to suddenly turn and run away when I get overwhelmed. What am I running from? Sometimes a dog (ew), sometimes a stranger (ew!), sometimes nothing. I see with my nose and I can smell things you wouldn't believe. It's okay to stop me in my tracks with my retractable lead if I'm a bit out of control, but also it can help me calm down quicker if you let me get it out of my system and do a little scurry in a safe direction. Keep an eye on this if I'm on the pavement because tbh I don't even notice the cars lol!
Dining
Recently I've been less bothered by my food. I always end up eating it eventually but sometimes I'll just skip breakfast altogether. If I'm having one of those days I'm usually most likely to go for my food in the evening with my friends sat around me watching so that I feel super comfortable (weird I know). A sprinkle of chicken, cheese, chicken griller or yoghurt might awaken my appetite, too. Try not to worry too much about me if I'm taking my time but I should be eating something each day, two meals ideally.
Barking
I do not like it when people are clattering around outside my house opening doors etc. I'm sorry but I don't like it and I will make that clear by barking.
Accidents
I almost never wee indoors but if ever I do I'm mortified and you can probably tell because I'll try and clean it up myself*. (ยฏยดโข._.โข ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ โข._.โขยดยฏ)
* In the extremely rare event of a carpet or rug accident there is a pet safe Dr Birkmans cleaner** in the boiler cupboard
** You might need to unscrew the top and drip it on because the dispenser's faulty ๐ค
Medication
I'm taking Reconcile for my strong feelings. I take half a tablet in a ball of cheese once a day.
Emergency
In the event of an emergency, my vets are the Temple End Vetenary Surgery in High Wycombe .
